Hyperway Pharma closes the first tranche of its Series B+ round: over 100M yuan raised

Chengdu Hyperway Pharmaceutical has announced the first close of its Series B+ financing. The round was led by the Chengdu Future Industry Fund, with participation from Yufu Gaozhi Fund, IN Capital, and Hengdian Group Capital. Existing shareholder Penglai Capital also increased its investment.

Only seven years in, Hyperway has:

🔹 5 innovative drugs in clinical development, including 10+ ongoing trials (one in Phase III, one in Phase II)
🔹 A tiered pipeline against some of the hardest targets in drug development: KRAS/RAS, BTK, and Nav1.8
🔹 A dual-track approach to KRAS, combining RAS molecular glues with small-molecule inhibitors (G12D, G12V, and pan-KRAS), aimed at the safety and resistance challenges that have limited the field
🔹 A differentiated brain-penetrating drug development platform
🔹 80+ patent applications filed and 37 patents granted
🔹 Data presented at major conferences, including ASCO and EHA

The proceeds will go toward advancing clinical programs, deepening the pipeline, and preparing for commercialization. Several preclinical candidates are expected to enter the clinic next year.

Chairman Dr. Yingfu Li says the company is also applying AI across operations, drug design, and clinical development, with the aim of “maximizing output with minimal input.”

Hyperway is also open to partnerships, including regional rights transfers and technology collaborations, as it expands into overseas markets.
